It has recently been claimed that A screenshot from the 3DMark benchmark has been published and results regarding the RTX 4060 performance of the laptop version have been leaked. The website that shared the screenshot did not mention its source, but acknowledged that the laptop in the image belongs to a test system from the Chinese company ThundeRobot.
The specifications of the GeForce RTX 4060 laptop GPU are still unconfirmed, but the card is said to have 8GB of GDDR6 memory and is likely to support a 128-bit memory bus. In this regard, it has been stated that the TGP (total graphics power) of the card is also different for different versions, but it is most likely not less than 85 watts in most versions, and it is expected to reach 140 watts using Dynamic Boost.
This graphics processor supported by the AD107 chip was tested next to the Intel Core i7-13700H CPU with a default TDP of 45 watts, and the CPU’s 5.0 GHz boost power eliminates the possibility of a bottleneck in the system. Based on the results published in this regard, the RTX 4060 laptop GPU was able to score 10050 in 3DMark TimeSpy.

Assuming that the TGP of this GPU is the most common TGP for this card model in the future, it can be considered 20% faster than the RTX 3060 laptop. At the same time, the RTX 4060 will only be 5% slower than the RTX 3070 laptop GPU, however, it is possible that this information cannot cover all aspects.
Both the RTX 3070 and RTX 3060 laptop GPUs have a wider memory bus (256 and 192 bits) than the RTX 4060, so the 4060 may run slower in high-resolution tests.
The RTX 4060 laptop is generally entering a diverse market, and competing for this GPU in this segment with other products will be challenging. Nvidia is going to unveil the RTX 40 series of laptop graphics processors at CES in the coming days.
