The most widely used password is still 123,456, which has been viewed more than 103 million times in NordPass studies and takes less than a second to crack. In fact, all items in the list of 50 common passwords (except one) will be broken in less than 1 second.

For example, the success of the Liverpool football team in recent years has made Liverpool the third most used password in the UK with a frequency of 224,000 times.

In some countries, this reference has been made to religious issues. In Nigeria, for example, the 19th most widely used christ password means “Christ”, while in Saudi Arabia bismillah or “Bismillah” is used by 1599 people and is the 30th most common password in the country.
