As one of the relatively new players in the handheld console industry, AOKZOE plans to launch the A1 handheld console Upgrade to Ryzen 7000 series processors. The Ryzen 7035 Rembrandt-R series processors were introduced by AMD a while ago and are considered to be an improved version of the Ryzen 6000 Rembrandt APUs, that is, their architectures are still Zen3+ and RDNA 2. Of course, we see a series of changes in the frequency of these chips compared to the previous generation.
AOKZOE A1 handheld console with Ryzen 7 7735U processor
The AOKZOE A1 AR07 handheld console was recently spotted on the Geekbench database and as the spec sheet says, it is powered by an octa-core Ryzen 7 7735U processor. This processor is actually an improved version of the Ryzen 7 6800U processor and has nothing new to offer. Rembrandt family APUs are used by almost all handheld console manufacturers such as OneXplayer, AYANEO, and AOKZOE.

The Ryzen 7 7735U processor has a maximum frequency of 4.75 GHz, which is only 50 MHz higher than the official frequency of the previous generation Ryzen 7 6800U processor. As the Geekbench database says, this frequency goes up to 4790 MHz; While the processor frequency in the previous generation of this console reached the maximum value of 4740 MHz.
This is the first and only time we’ve seen the AOKZOE A1 handheld with the Ryzen 7 7735U on Geekbench, but there are plenty of test entries for the R7 6800U version of the console in the database. It seems that the manufacturer is still working on optimizing the performance of this processor, because the previous generation model sometimes managed to get higher scores than this year’s model, and this year’s model is still not at its maximum power.

Since the name and model of this handheld console have not changed, the rest of its specifications should be the same as the previous generation. That is, the AOKZOE A1 handheld console is still equipped with an 8-inch 1920 x 1200 display and LPDDR5X-6400 memories.
Higher price than Steam Deck
The previous generation of this handheld console, which was equipped with a Ryzen 7 6800U processor, was released to the market at a price of $799; The price is higher than the Steam Deck handheld console. But we must not forget that this handheld console is far more powerful than its competitor and has both an 8-core processor and its internal graphics based on the RDNA 2 architecture.
