In this regard, China has filed more than 18,223 patent applications, which is almost twice as many patents filed by the United States. Britain also has only 0.26% of this share with 179 patents. The announced statistics were at the country level, however, it should be noted that in the corporate sector, the Taiwanese company TSMC registered the highest number of patents with 4,793 cases, which is nearly 7 of the total share.
