Colorfire introduced this graphics card while the 3060Ti has been discontinued
Colorful brought back its Colorfire brand (which was exclusive to Radeon) with the NVIDIA Turing series for a small selection of custom, “colorful” designs. The new series called “Vitality” and “Cool Mint” were pink and mint colored graphics cards. These graphics cards are based on mid-range products such as RTX 2060/GTX 1650/1660 or the newer RTX 3060 (Ti)/3050.
At the end of 2021, Colorfire introduced their new product line for the NVIDIA Ampere architecture, which until then was their last update, and today it looks like a new update with an RTX 3060 Ti GPU but with GDDR6X memory. has it.
In early reviews of the previous version, it looks like the RTX 3060 Ti GDDR6 “Cool Mint” graphics card will have a higher TDP than the GDDR6 model (225W vs. 200W) and there will be more power connectors (8×2 in vs. 8*1 pin). But there is no change in clock speed, as both models use Nvidia’s default clocks.
Interestingly, the introduction of the new Mint GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GDDR6X graphics card was published almost at the same time as the rumors about the possible discontinuation of the 3060Ti series. According to Board Channels, production of this series of products is scheduled to be phased out in a few months, while the production line of these GPUs has already been discontinued.
If the rumor is true, the board partners will have enough stock to continue selling the cards in the second and third quarters. But given that Colorfire just released a new GDDR6X model, it’s safe to assume that this stop will not affect all 3060Ti-based products, but only the original GDDR6 products.
