Rolls-Royce products have a special place among the rich and luxury riders. You might think that considering the price and characteristics of the products of this aristocratic brand, its customers are generally old businessmen and people like that. But according to Rolls-Royce CEO Torsten Mueller-Oetvoes, the average age of the company’s customers is 43 years. Interestingly, with such a figure, it should be said that Rolls-Royce has the youngest customers among the subsidiaries of the Bamoo group!
In addition to the German brand, the Bamoo group includes two brands, Rolls-Royce and Mini. With this in mind, it can be concluded that Rolls-Royce buyers are also younger in terms of age than buyers of Bamoo products! Of course, it must be admitted that the comparison of the customer range of these two brands is not very accurate, because their production volumes are very different.
In any case, the move of the younger rich to Rolls-Royce is a positive sign for this popular British brand. Most of Rolls-Royce’s young customers come from China and the United States, according to Müller-Otweus.
The Rolls-Royce CEO made the remarks in an interview with Automotive News Europe, during the release of the first information and images of the company’s first all-electric model. It is not bad to know that the mentioned model is called Specter and will be launched in late 2024.
Specter hidden images indicate that this car will have a body very similar to the Wraith coupe. However, Rolls-Royce CEO believes that Specter is by no means a replacement for Wraith and targets completely different people, so the design and feel of the two models are not similar.
Little is known about the technical specifications of the Rolls-Royce Specter at this time, but we do know that it will use a new platform called Architecture of Luxury. This platform has already been used in the construction of Ghost and Phantom. Interestingly, Rolls-Royce says the Specter will be tested for a total of 2.5 million kilometers, which is more than any previous product.
It goes without saying that Rolls-Royce will become an all-electric brand by 2030. Therefore, it is expected that after that period and after Specter, Rolls-Royce will gradually add several other electric models to its product portfolio. Crossover based on a common platform with Specter is expected to be one of these models. Analysts believe that this crossover will arrive in 2024.
