Ford unveils Branco DR version of Branco chassis. Developed for desert rally racing, this version is equipped with a 5-liter V8 engine with 400 horsepower and its suspension system is much higher in terms of performance than the standard model. With the revisions made to the suspension and the use of Muiltimatic shock absorbers, the displacement of the Branco DR wheels has increased by 55.1% in the front axle and 58.6% in the rear axle. Relying on these assistants, Branco DR’s entry, exit and failure angles are 47, 37 and 33 degrees, respectively.
Like other racing cars in the cabin of the Ford Branco DR, there is no mention of various amenities and options. To protect the driver from possible accidents, special rods are used and the seats are racing. A Motec C187 display is also responsible for providing basic information to the driver.
Branco DR is based on the four-door version, the rear of this racing chassis is dedicated to full-size spare tires and cooling systems; Below them is a tank with a capacity of 65 gallons to be comfortable in terms of range of motion of the driver!
