Huawei CEO Richard Yu is leading the company through tough times, but neither he nor his team have lost their passion for photography. He happened to share a sample photo of a yet-to-be-announced new phone. Of course, Yu did not try to hide the mentioned phone and the post in question “Huawei P60 Pro” tag on Weibo has it.
A few days ago, examples of images recorded with the Huawei P60 Pro flagship phone were published on the web. Likely This new image too It is a photo taken with the telephoto camera of this phone; Just like a bunch of pictures we saw last week.

This unique camera is said to have a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B sensor and a 3.5x zoom lens. Interestingly, this sensor apparently uses the RYYB color filter, which Huawei has been developing for a long time.
As for the other cameras of this phone, it is likely to be a pair of 50-megapixel modules, with the main camera being the Sony IMX888 sensor and the other being the IMX858 ultra-wide camera. According to published reports, this phone uses a 6.6-inch QHD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate (1920Hz PWM dimming), a 5000mAh battery with 100W charging, IP68 certification, and HarmonyOS 3.0.
Initial reports indicated that this phone will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ 1st generation chip. But later leaks claim that Huawei will use Snapdragon 8 generation 2 instead of this chipset. (Note: In both cases, we’re talking about 4G chips due to the company’s commercial limitations.)
The standard Huawei P60 is expected to come with 52MP, 50MP, and 16MP cameras, featuring IMX789 primary, IMX858 ultra-wide, and IMX351 telephoto sensors, respectively.
If we go back to the image published by the CEO of Huawei, this photo looks really amazing. The image in question shows that the phone has enough dynamic range to not only show off a building with artificial lighting on a black and white background, but also perfectly show the details of the moon.
The Huawei P60 Pro was expected to be announced during Mobile World Congress 2023. But as you know, this event ended and there was no news about the flagship phone of this Chinese brand. Currently, it is not confirmed when exactly this phone will be released. But Huawei is expected to officially announce the P60 series later this month.
