Increased Galaxy S23 Ultra performance score on Geekbench

The increased Geekbench score of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra shows how much better this device can perform with the help of its overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. The latest benchmark version of the Galaxy S23 Ultra has 8GB of RAM, and a 12GB model is also expected to be part of the lineup.

Apparently Geekbench benchmark score for Galaxy S23 Ultra Samsung, currently known by the model number SM-S918B, has been up since November. According to the data, the single-core performance score of this device is around 1500. But concerns have been raised about the S23 Ultra multi-core model, whose score was around 4000. Of course, according to the latest revealed scores of this smartphone on Geekbench, its multi-core performance score has reached around 5000. As well-known tech leakster Ice Universe previously stated, phones like the S23 Ultra that use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip should score higher on Geekbench’s multi-core test.

However, it looks like there is nothing to worry about yet as Samsung is apparently still rolling out software changes to the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The latest Geekbench results for the 8GB version of the phone show a regular single-core score of 1566 and an enhanced multi-core score of 5179. This score is 10.45% higher than the S23 Ultra multi-core benchmark reported in November. As Ice Universe pointed out, similar to the multi-core specs of other second-generation Snapdragon phones

Samsung is expected to use the overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in the Galaxy S23 series. While Qualcomm has set the standard maximum frequency of this chip at 3.2 GHz, it seems that it can be increased to provide relatively better performance. The latest Geekbench results for the S23 Ultra show that its maximum processor frequency reaches 3.342 GHz. This figure is even higher than the recorded average maximum clock of 3.225 GHz. It remains to be seen whether said benchmark will eventually wipe the Galaxy S23 range off the charts in the same way it has wiped out many other Samsung flagships due to perceived benchmark manipulation.
