Sony and Insomniac Games have released new details about Marvel’s Wolverine.

“Grube” confirmed that the R-rated Wolverine game will be developed by Insomniac Games. This could be good news for Wolverine fans, as Insomniac Games has recently been involved in the development of T-rated (13+) games. However, many Wolverine movies were released with an age rating of PG-13.

This game is not supposed to have anything to do with Fox’s movie series. The Wolverine Project presents an independent and original universe. I’ve heard that the story of the game takes place before Wolverine joined the X-Men. Regarding the release date of the game, I can say that the company has planned two times for the release of Wolverine. The said game is likely to be released in the fall of 2024 or at some unknown point in 2025.
