The eyes of all car enthusiasts and magazines are on the Munich Motor Show these days, where brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Baamu and Volkswagen have made a lot of noise with the unveiling of several modern and advanced concepts. But apart from these brands, Continental has also unveiled a special and very different concept called AMBIENC3, which can be considered a special guest at the Munich Motor Show. Although this concept is based on the old Volkswagen T2 van, it benefits from the latest technologies and sustainable materials.
The AMBIENC3 Continental Concept is built for the auto era, which is why its cabin is so modern and sophisticated. Of course, Continental uses the term “third space” to describe the cabin of this car, because it believes that after home and work, the AMBIENC3 cabin is the best place to rest and work.
At first glance, the AMBIENC3 minimalist cabin draws attention to its square shape and its simple, clean wooden dashboard. As expected, a digital display on the back of the steering wheel has been used to provide the driver with the information they need, and the standard mirror has been replaced by a larger display. This display gives the driver a 360-degree view of the car.
The white driver’s seat is made with staynu technology, this technology is low in price and prevents stains and contaminants from remaining on the seat. Like Nissan Aria, when the car is off, there is no trace of control buttons in this concept. These light buttons are hidden under the surfaces and appear when the propulsion is turned on.
The rear of the Continental AMBIENC3 Concept has an all-round couch or bed and armchair with a wooden armrest. SMEG coffee maker, Ac2ated speakerless audio system and all-natural and recyclable materials are other notable features of this modern concept cabin.
No powertrain information has been released, but given the futurism of the AMBIENC3, Continental is likely to equip the concept with an electric propulsion system.
