Today, during its special event, Xiaomi announced the high-end smartphones Redmi K60 and a new mid-range smartphone called Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed. Redmi Watch 3 is bigger than ever
This new Redmi wearable has a square AMOLED display with a diameter of 1.75 inches. The display is 341 PPI and supports a 60 Hz refresh rate, and Redmi claims it can even reach 600 nits of brightness. The body design has smooth sides, similar to the current smartphone trend, and there is a hard button on the side. Redmi Watch 3 comes with an always-on display and can offer more than 200 different watch faces to the user.
Xiaomi has improved the Redmi Watch 3 battery and it can now work for 12 days on a single charge along with continuous monitoring of SpO2 (blood oxygen) and heart rate. The device is certified for underwater use at 5ATM (i.e. a pressure equivalent to 50 meters underwater) and also works with GNSS for accurate tracking in sports.
As for exercise, there are 121 different workout modes, and the wearable can work independently without the need for a smartphone, as it has GPS navigation. However, a phone is required for Bluetooth calls, and the company has included a noise-cancelling microphone to enhance call quality.
Currently, Redmi Watch 3 is priced at 499 yuan ($72) in China. It comes in black or white (which looks more like ivory), though there are three colorful bands for further customization that cost an extra 69 yuan ($10).
Redmi Band 2 light and thin
With the release of this wearable, the border between a smart watch and a smart wristband has become narrower than ever. The Band 2 has a 1.47-inch screen, which is 76% larger than the first Redmi Band. The thickness of this band is 9.99 mm and its weight is only 14.9 grams.
The device doesn’t support Bluetooth calls, but it still offers fancy features like blood oxygen measurement and menstrual cycle tracking for women. There are also more than 30 exercise modes, and the battery can last six days of heavy use or nearly 14 days of “normal” use on a single charge.
The Redmi Band 2 will cost only 159 yuan ($23) until the end of 2022, and then it will go up to 169 yuan ($24). There are six color options for the user: fluorescent green, rose gold, black, light blue, dark green and white.
Attractive and cheap Redmi Buds 4 Lite
These headphones are also called Youth in Chinese because they are specially designed for the young audience who love bright colors. This one is called Buds 4 Lite, which has a 12mm driver for deep sound and intelligent noise reduction during calls. Each wind weighs only 3.9 grams and the whole package, two winds + case, offers up to 20 hours of battery life. Other specs include Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, which works wonders for instant pairing with select Xiaomi devices, and the buds are IP54 certified for water and dust ingress.
Redmi Buds 4 Lite comes in white and black colors which are very simple colors. More attractive options are orange, where the buds and body are a bright color, and green, where only the buds and the inside of the body share the same color. The price of this product is only 139 yuan ($20) until the end of the year. It will then change to 149 yuan ($21).
