When it comes to German luxury sedans, no car can compete with the Maybach. The same company that takes over the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and gives you a moving palace as a gift. The customers of these cars are usually two groups of people, celebrities and bloodthirsty dictators! This 57-tuned Maybach is no exception.
The former Libyan dictator or Muammar Gaddafi, whose rule ended in 2011, owned this aristocratic car. Maybach initially intended to produce 100 units of this car, but in the end, only a handful of it reached buyers. Maybach 57 Gaddafi is the fourth machine produced from this car in the world.
Maybach 57 first launched in the form of an aristocratic sedan. But since 2010, an independent company called Xenatec has received an order to turn this super sedan into a luxury coupe. So Xenatec engineers removed the rear doors of the car and, with the help of artists, turned the car into a complete coupe. The two-tone body design and white interior trim, which includes a long list of luxury options, are the most important appearance features of this car. Not surprisingly. Because Gaddafi always wanted the best, but not for the people of his country!
Under the hood is a 6.0-liter 12-cylinder engine that delivers 620 horsepower to the rear wheels. Talking about the rings, we come to the set of 12 20.0-inch LM-made branches that attract a lot of attention. The cabin is hosted with the utmost luxury and aristocracy of the occupants. The refrigerator and telephone in the back row of seats, the massager for all occupants and an advanced sound system from the Bose brand leave nothing to be desired.
The car has a range of only 2,300 km and has been sold by the Otto Leitner show in the Netherlands. When the car was zero kilometers, it was priced between $ 376,300 and $ 412,000. But after the historic ups and downs it experienced, simply because of the strange identity of its former owner, it is now expected to be priced at $ 1.16 million (€ 961,950).
