Update release MIUI 14 for Poco M2 Pro budget smartphone It has started in India. This update adds several new features and improvements aimed at enhancing the user experience, such as a new design language and super icons. In addition, the new update includes Android April 2023 security patches to enhance system security.
The MIUI 14 user interface, which was unveiled in December 2022, is the latest version of Xiaomi’s custom Android skin. Currently Poco M2 Pro users in India can use this update and its features. It is worth noting that some features of MIUI 14 may not be available for the phone as this update is based on the Android 12 framework.
The MIUI 14 update for Poco M2 Pro is build number V14.0.3.0.SJPINXM and its file size is approximately 500 MB. This update will initially be available to Poco Pilots users for testing, and if the bug is not detected, it will be available to all users through an OTA (Over-the-Air) update. Alternatively, users can also download the update manually.
As for the changes, only the April 2023 security patch and the optimized search system are mentioned in the Settings app. Also, the search section now displays histories and categories, increasing accessibility and ease of use.
The Poco M2 Pro was originally released in July 2020 with MIUI 11 based on Android 10. MIUI 14 and Android 12 are the third MIUI and second Android updates of this phone, respectively.
The Poco M2 Pro is equipped with a 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a punch hole, which houses a 16-megapixel selfie camera. This device uses a Snapdragon 720G processor. The quad camera module of this smartphone has a 48-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 5-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. In addition, the device also packs a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
