As evidenced by the conventional gasoline offered in the country’s gas stations is not compatible with many imported cars and domestic assembly and can cause severe damage to the engine of these products in the long run, but the National Organization for Standardization of Iran, by sending separate reports To the President and the Minister of Oil, he has confirmed the increase in the quality of gasoline compared to previous years.
Nayreh Pirooz Bakht sent this report to the Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zanganeh to explain the situation of gasoline produced in the country’s refineries and while referring to the study of gasoline produced in the years 93 to 99, the observance of environmental parameters and permissible enumeration of hydrocarbons and its components Fuel is reported.
According to him, good or bad gasoline has nothing to do with whether we have a lot of oil reservoirs, but with refineries. It is a good refinery that can produce good gasoline. Therefore, the quality of gasoline produced in 1998 has gone up and all its polluting parameters, including sulfur, benzene, aromatic and olefins are at the permissible and standard levels.
Despite the Minister of Oil’s constant emphasis on the quality of gasoline consumed in Iran, there are some criticisms from some institutions involved in air quality monitoring or car manufacturers, but the poor quality of gasoline is still rejected by official bodies such as the Ministry of Oil and the Standards Organization.
