The Tokyo Motor Show will not be held this year due to the corona outbreak, and the carmakers that wanted to participate will be virtually unveiling their latest achievements. The Nissan NV350 Office Pod concept is one of the models unveiled at this virtual show, which showcases the Japanese automaker’s perception of a mobile office.
The Nissan NV350 Office Pod concept has been developed with the aim of telecommuting, especially in the corona world. In terms of appearance, this concept van, thanks to the special panels of the body, is a tough and durable car and it seems that its off-road capabilities are at a higher level than the standard NV350 model.
The cabin of the NV350 Office Pod hosts a desk, office chair and all the necessary accessories in a small office so that the user feels the presence of his workplace in the best possible way. These components are housed inside a sliding compartment that protrudes from the rear of the vehicle.

To easily enter or leave the cabin of Nissan’s mobile office, a simple staircase has been designed that should be placed under the side door. A refrigerator and kettle are also included in the interior, which can be used to store drinks, snacks or to make tea and coffee.
But perhaps the best feature of the Nissan NV350 Office Pod concept is the roof rest area, where it can play a very positive role in recovering lost energy after a hard day’s work.
Although Nissan’s mobile office is currently a concept and there are no plans to produce it, but it is an interesting idea and maybe one day we will see it available in international markets if positive feedback is enough.
