Some time ago, there were reports of trademarks being registered by BBK Electronics, owner of Oppo, OnePlus and Vivo in the automotive industry. Now, a new rumor has it that Oppo has started working on its electric car and may introduce it in 2024.

According to the website 91Mobiles, A source of knowledge called Mukul Sharma claims that the Chinese giant is working on a car for the Indian market. This was mentioned earlier in the registered trademarks. The Oppo electric car will probably have an automatic driving system and is currently under construction. The source of today’s report says that the Oppo car can be introduced at the end of 2023 or early 2024.

Although the current report mentions the possible launch date of this car, but at the moment there is no other information about the technical specifications or hardware of this car. Of course, this news is still a rumor and we should not accept it with certainty, but if there really is such a plan, we will have to wait for Oppo to release a teaser about this electric car in the coming months. Various manufacturers are trying to enter the car market more easily by investing in Asian markets.

Earlier, Tesla announced plans to launch its electric vehicles in India. Xiaomi is another large Chinese company that wants to enter the electric car market and will probably produce its first product in 2024. The company recently registered its second car business.

On the other hand, it is said that Apple is also working to enter the electric car market. However, there have been conflicting reports about Apple’s activities, and we do not know exactly when and with what approach the company will enter the market.
