AMD Recently, in the official statement regarding the reports of users of Radeon RX 7900 XTX cards, they were asked to contact the support of this company due to the reported problems and overheating of the GPU. Although Radeon RX 7900 XTX cards are currently one of the best GPU series from AMD, it seems that users of some GPUs are suffering from overheating problem.

In AMD’s own reference plan, the hottest point of the card is 110 degrees Celsius, and in this regard, some have stated that the card cooling system and its fans cannot lower the temperature even with maximum performance. In this regard, AMD stated that they are aware of this problem and admitted that a limited number of these GPUs have encountered this problem.

The company further stated that users who have encountered this Radeon RX 7900 XTX overheating problem should contact the company’s support department. In this regard, it seems that AMD reference cards have faced this problem more. According to AMD, 110°C is the typical junction temperature for the Radeon RX 7900 XTX.

However, some have speculated that incorrect connection of the cold metal plate in the cooling system caused the overheating problem in Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics cards. In this case, some online users have claimed that replacing the TIM with a thermal pad is a suitable solution to solve this problem.

Anyway, AMD is looking into this issue and PowerColor has also started collecting information about this to help AMD’s research. The Red Team has not given a definitive date on when the final solution will be provided in this case, and the OEM companies have also encouraged users who are facing this problem to contact the support department.
