Realme C55 is the first C series phone to come with 33W SuperVOOC charging technology. The previous model of this phone, the C35, uses 18-watt technology. This means that Realme’s new phone has been upgraded in fast charging capability. The C55 charges faster than any other C-series smartphone. Since the company recently announced that most Realme smartphones will support 33W or faster charging in 2023, we’re likely to see all Realme C-series phones charging at least 33W this year.
It should be noted that Realme C55 is equipped with SoC Helio G88 chip with up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage space. This device runs Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13 by default. In addition, the Realme C55 has a dedicated microSD card slot to expand the storage up to 1TB.

Realme C55 is offered in two colors, black and gold. The base model (6GB RAM/128GB storage) is priced at IDR 2,499,000 ($160/€150), and the 8GB RAM/256GB storage version costs IDR 2,999,000 ($180/195). The product will go on sale in Indonesia starting today with a limited discount of IDR 100,000 ($6 / €6).
