Renowned leakster Sudhanshu Ambhore shared the renders of the Redmi Note 12 4G on Twitter. The published images show that this 4G phone follows the design language of the other two members of this family. This device has a smooth body and behind the frame there is a rectangular camera module that hosts three cameras plus an LED flash. Inside this module, there is a 50-megapixel main camera sensor along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.
The Redmi Note 12 4G features a flat display with a hole in the center to host the 13-megapixel selfie camera. The thickness of the borders around the display seems ideal. Overall, considering the fact that the phone will be priced under $180 (Rs. 15,000), the specs look quite premium.
The whistleblower also shared a live image of this phone, which shows the “About phone” section. This image shows that the Redmi Note 12 4G will be powered by the yet-to-be-released Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chip. According to published information, this chip is an overclocked version of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660. In addition, the phone will be launched with 4 GB of RAM and 3 GB of virtual RAM. This device will run MIUI 14 based on Android 13 by default.
