Huawei will unveil its latest clamshell phone called Mate X2 in a few minutes. The new model has changed compared to the Mate X, which was introduced exactly two years ago, and one of the biggest changes is the closing of the screen inwards.
Similar to what you see on Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 2, on one side of the Mate X2’s exterior panel is a large (6.2-inch) display that makes it easier to work with when closed. The unveiling ceremony of this product started a few minutes ago in China and one of the informed sources in the world of technology, nicknamed Evan Blass, gave the first official images of it. Has published:
The Mate X2 is powered by the flagship Kirin 9000 chipset, which is also equipped with the Mate 40 Pro. The phone will be released without Google services or apps due to sanctions, which may make it an unattractive option for markets outside China.
