Samsung is preparing for the launch of the Galaxy S22 family, and although there are still a few months left until the introduction of this family, now renderings of the Galaxy S22 Ultra case have been released, which show the design of this smartphone and its camera module.
According to the website GizmochinaRenderings of the Galaxy S22 Ultra protective case from Chinese manufacturers. These renderings show that Samsung’s mobile design is in line with previous reports. This device is not significantly different from the previous generation, but will offer some of the features of the Note series.
The thickness of this phone is probably 8.9 mm and its dimensions are 163.2 by 77.9 by 8.9 mm. Samsung’s next flagship has a quad-camera camera on the back that has a P-shaped layout. This camera has a 108-megapixel main sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. The next two sensors will probably be 10 megapixels and telephoto. One of these sensors is said to support 10x optical zoom. The S22 Ultra also features a USB-C port, speaker slot and microphone.
The interesting thing is that there will probably be a slot for hosting the S Pen on the body of the device. Pen support was added to the Galaxy S21 Ultra last year, but it lacked an S Pen holder. According to previous reports, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will have a 6.8-inch OLED display with a high refresh rate.
The smartphone will likely be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 898 chipset and will be marketed at the same time as the Exynos 2200 chip, which will be made in collaboration with AMD. If Samsung goes according to last year’s plan, the Galaxy S21 series will be introduced in January 2022. But some reports point to the family’s release in late February. This family will probably have three members like last year.
