Samsung wants to have a wider presence in the clamshell market, which is why it is unveiling at least two new clamshell phones this year. Now the first information about Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 2 Has been disclosed.
This year, along with the new generation of Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip phones, the Koreans may also unveil the light version of the Galaxy Fold, a product that can have higher sales in the market at a lower price than its brothers. However, we only see information about the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 2.
The next generation Galaxy Z Fold comes with the model number SM-F926 and in the basic version it uses 256 GB of internal memory. This clamshell phone is equipped with the default operating system of Android 11 and One UI 3.5 user interface.
The Galaxy Z Flip 2 carries the model number SM-F711 and comes in two versions equipped with 128 and 256 GB of internal memory. This device will also have Android 11 and One UI 3.5 user interface.
Given the use of the One UI 3.5 interface, we will most likely not encounter them until the second half of 2021, as Samsung has just unveiled the One UI 3.1 interface with the Galaxy S21 series handsets. The One UI 3.5 user interface undoubtedly provides more features to users than the previous version.
In recent years, Samsung has introduced a new user interface with the unveiling of its new generation of flagships, and this year we should see the same thing. Given that the future of the Galaxy Note series phones is in a haze, and perhaps the latest generation of these products called the Galaxy Note 21 will be available this year, clamshell phones with a new version of the Korean user interface will probably be available in the coming years.
S Pen support is expected to be added to the Galaxy Z Fold series handsets so that other users will not feel short of it if they stop producing Note phones, although Samsung has also added support for this stylus to the Galaxy S21 Ultra.
