Moments ago, during the Unpacked 2023 event, Samsung officially introduced the Galaxy S23 series phones in three models, the flagship of which is the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The overall design of this phone has remained almost unchanged compared to the previous generation, Galaxy S22 Ultra, and all the changes have taken place inside this phone. Of course, the color scheme of this phone has also been completely changed compared to the previous generation.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is equipped with a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which supports the HDR10+ standard, and its maximum brightness is 1750 nits. The resolution of this display is 3088×1440 and its pixel density is 501 pixels per inch. This display is protected by a protective layer of Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and supports the S-Pen that comes with the phone. This display has a new technology called Vision Booster, which automatically adjusts the contrast and color of the display light according to the material, temperature, and color of the ambient light.

Regarding the technical specifications of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, we must say that all three models of the Galaxy S23 family are equipped with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, but not a normal version of it. Qualcomm is releasing the fastest version of its flagship chipset exclusively with the extension “For Galaxy” for Galaxy S23 phones. This phone is available in four models: 8/256, 12/256, 12/512 and 12/1024.
Camera
Let’s go to the camera set, where the most brilliant change of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra phone compared to the Galaxy S22 Ultra phone took place. The main camera of this phone is equipped with a 200 megapixel ISOCELL HP2 sensor, which has the ability to record images in 12.5 and 50 megapixel resolutions and also supports 8K video recording. Thanks to the new processor, this sensor can record up to 50 megapixel RAW images, which have their own advantages. Other rear cameras of this phone are macro and ultrawide cameras.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra camera supports a new video recording feature called Astro Hyperlapse. Another feature called Adaptive VDIS has also been added to this camera set, which analyzes the movements of the phone and the amount of light in the environment and takes the best output from the camera sensor according to them.
Another component of the Galaxy S23 Ultra that has not changed significantly compared to the S22 Ultra is its battery. Like its previous generation, this phone has a 5000 mAh battery that charges with a maximum power of 45 watts. The support of this phone for wireless charging and reverse wireless charging should not be neglected.

Price and availability
Samsung has not changed the price of the Galaxy S23 Ultra compared to the Galaxy S22 Ultra, and in the US market, the price of this phone starts at $1,200 for the 8/256 GB version. The base model of the S22 Ultra had 128GB of internal storage instead of 256GB and was still priced at $1,200. This phone can be ordered now.
