The changes in the global economy due to the Russia-Ukraine war on one hand and the energy crisis on the other hand have caused an increase in global inflation and living costs, and Nvidia and AMD companies have acted liberally in the pricing of RTX 40 and RX 7900 graphics cards, but apparently The price of these cards in Europe There is a decreasing trend.
Price reduction of RTX 40 and RX 7000 graphics cards
Reducing the price of graphics cards is not something we hear a lot these days. In the Mindfactory retail store, as one of the largest hardware retailers in Germany, the average price of graphics cards in the market is at least 97% higher than the average price of 2020. Currently, the average price of GeForce graphics cards is 825 euros, and this figure for Radeon graphics cards is around 600 euros. With all these issues and considerations in mind, desktop graphics cards are still expensive. The Hardware.info site has just published its February report on the graphics card market, and it seems that the prices of RTX 30, RTX 40, RX 6000 and RX 7000 graphics cards are decreasing. On average, GeForce graphics cards are down about 3 percent and Radeon graphics cards are down about 5.6 percent compared to January. With the new prices, the RTX 4080 and RX 7900 XT graphics cards can now be purchased for below MSRP.
AMD’s next-generation flagship Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics card is currently 14% cheaper than it was in January, but still retails for more than AMD’s MSRP. On the other hand, the price of the RX 7900 XT graphics card has reached 6.9% below MSRP. The price of the RTX 4090 graphics card has also decreased by 6.2% in just one month, which is the highest price for an RTX 40 graphics card so far.
