SpeedKore, a company that rebuilds and upgrades old models, has unveiled a very exciting product. Named the Hellraiser, it is based on the 1970 Dodge Charger. This car is custom made for Hollywood comedian Kevin Hart.
Powering this attractive and fiery car is the famous 7-liter engine of the 426 Hemi Create series. The engine, known as the Hellephant, was built by Mopar and is capable of producing 1,000 horsepower and 1,288 Nm of torque. The $ 30,000 engine is powered by a ZF eight-speed gearbox on the rear axle.
SpeedCor has assigned the task of discharging the exhaust gases to the new exhaust system with different headers. The mufflers of this system are made by Magnaflow.
Like other SpeedCor products, the body of the hellerizer is mainly made of lightweight carbon fiber panels; Interestingly, these panels were formed after a detailed scan of the main body of the 1970 Dodge Charger and were cut and welded together using a five-axis CNC machine. Therefore, the accuracy of the components of the hellerizer is very high.
The holser has a dedicated frame under its body with a 14-point integrated roll cage. The suspension layout of this very special car on the front axle is adapted from the Chevrolet Corvette C6 and the existing parts are made by Detroit Speed and Woodward.
Other notable features of the Speedcore Heller include Penske adjustable shock absorbers, new front and rear balance bars, two- and four-axle Brembo two-axle brakes, three-piece HRE 3 rims, and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.
Not to mention that the Heller is the first Speedcore product with a Hellephant engine. From SpeedCor’s CEO, this car represents the pinnacle of the company’s design and engineering power.
