Renders of the Surface Duo 2 had previously been released showing the design, but no details have been released about its key specs. The documentation provided by the benchmark now confirms some of the hardware specifications of the Microsoft phone.
According to the documentation provided by the benchmark site گیکبنچ 5 Surface Duo 2 phones will use Snapdragon 888 processor. Other details revealed by this benchmark include Android 11 and 8 GB of RAM. It is not yet officially known whether Microsoft intends to make the new Android 12 operating system available to its device or launch it in other options with more RAM, but Microsoft’s dual-screen phone will likely come with the same specifications.
As can be seen in the information provided from this gigabat, the Surface Duo 2 scored 1091 points in the single-core test and 3517 points in the multi-core test.
Although Qualcomm has another more powerful chipset called the Snapdragon 888 Plus, Microsoft probably does not choose it due to thermal limitations. The Surface Duo 2 will probably have a very thin structure like its predecessor, and facing such a limited space will also create challenges and obstacles. Of course, there is very little difference between the two chips, and users may not notice them when doing things with the phone.
Perhaps the main thing about the Surface Duo 2 is that Microsoft fixes the original device. Microsoft’s first two-panel device lacked NFC, and some consumer quality issues, including the accuracy of the fingerprint sensor and the failure of the plastic frame, were criticized by many consumers. For a device with a $ 1399 price tag, these problems are completely unacceptable.
