By adopting a new strategy called Renault, Renault intends to revive its old models with green electric propulsion. The remake of the popular and memorable Renault 5 hatchback is one of the results of this strategy that we informed you about a while ago. It is reported that a similar thing has happened to the classic Model 4, and this car will return to the production lines in the form of a modern electric car.
According to information obtained by the British magazine Autocar from internal sources of Renault, the electric model 4 will be launched in 2025. This is in line with the CEO of the company who said at the unveiling of the Renault 5 concept that at least one other model will join the car.
Like the Renault 5, the Model 4 will be based on the CMF-B platform, so many parts and components of the two cars will be shared; The design, the type of room, as well as the different class are what separate the two.

It is worth mentioning that Renault 4 Classic was born in 1961 and due to its high performance, it was able to achieve great popularity in different countries of the world. The French automaker sold more than 8 million units by 1994, when the model was on the production line. In addition to the homeland, the car was assembled in other countries such as Algeria, Morocco, Mexico, Colombia, the former Yugoslavia, Spain, Chile, Italy, Argentina, Ireland, Uruguay, Belgium, Spain and Australia.
Given the class in which the Renault 4 Classic was present, the new generation of this car will probably be produced as a small electric crossover. The French are expected to welcome the street version of the Renault 4 with the unveiling of a concept model, just like what happened to the popular hatchback 5.
It is worth mentioning that the sale of Renault 5 electric is planned for 2022; The company plans to launch seven electric vehicles by 2025.
