The first Ryzen 9 7900X3D processor benchmark has been released

The 12-core processor Ryzen 9 7900X3D is one of the three processors that AMD offers under the X3D series and equipped with 3D V-Cache memory, and now its first benchmark has been published. These processors have an additional cache platform with a capacity of 64 MB, which significantly improves their performance in some special processes such as gaming.

Ryzen 9 7900X3D processor in AotS benchmark

Recently the Ryzen 9 7900X3D processor On the Ashes of the Singularity benchmark database It was seen next to the RTX 4090 graphics card and the test of both was done on 1080p resolution and Crazy settings. This combination has been able to score 8900, 9000 and 9100 respectively in three benchmark executions.

Unfortunately, the AotS benchmark is highly unreliable for comparison, especially when referring to the results of the database itself. With that in mind, comparing these results with the results from the R9 7900X and R9 7950X processors isn’t very accurate.

The Ryzen 9 7900X3D is a 12-core, 24-thread processor. The maximum frequency of this processor reaches 5.6 GHz, which is exactly the same as the regular R9 7900X processor. Thanks to the 3D V-Cache memory, the maximum cache memory of this processor has reached 140 MB, which is only 76 MB for the X version. The price of this processor will be 50 dollars more than the original price of the 7900X processor on the day of release.

The R9 7900X3D / 7950X3D processors are set to launch on February 28th, with the octa-core R7 7800X3D five weeks after that. AotS benchmarks are either published by one of the reviewers, or one of the motherboard manufacturers is testing this processor to optimize the BIOS. Anyway, we will see more benchmarks of these processors released in the coming weeks.
