Gordon Murray, the creator and original designer of the fastest car of the twentieth century, McLaren F1, intends to revive the memory of McLaren F1 by founding a new company with his name. The company is set to launch the T.50 and its track version of the T.50s in the first step, followed by a cheaper model called the T.33.
This model is weaker and smaller than the T50 in terms of driving forces and dimensions and is known as “Project Two”. The company is currently pre-selling this product at a lower price. However, its production will be limited and only 100 units will be produced.
The T30 will have the same structure as the T50 and will be powered by a 3.9-liter V12 engine from Kazorth, but will produce less power. The semi-hybrid powertrain and center seat will also be removed (the T50, like the McLaren F1, has three seats and the driver is in the middle seat), and will only be available with two seats.
Due to the removal of the hybrid part, the fan located at the end of the car, which plays the role of creating better aerodynamic conditions for the car, will also be removed to have the simplest possible structure.
This product is expected to reach its special and wealthy customers from 2023 onwards.
Gordon Murray is currently working hard on the initial testing of the T50, and new news about the product and its production is expected to reach the media by early spring next year.
