The Huawei P50 series was introduced some time ago. Huawei is now focusing on the Mate 50, and is rumored to be able to use Qualcomm’s 4nm Snapdragon chipset.

According to an informed source on the Chinese social network Weibo, the Huawei Mate 50 series of chipsets + SM8450 Uses. This chip is Qualcomm’s next flagship processor, which is made with 4-nanometer technology. However, it is not clear whether the SM8450 + will be manufactured by Samsung or TSMC. This chip has a plus version and a standard version.

A source named Ivan Bless had previously said in another report that the SM8450 is Qualcomm’s next-generation chipset. The chip uses the Snapdragon X65 5G internal integrated modem and will be made with 4nm lithography. Qualcomm chip is expected to be equipped with Cryo 780 processor, Adreno 730 graphics processor, Spectra 680 image processor and SPU260 secure processing unit. The chip supports FASTConnect 6900 and LPDDR5 RAM.

This specification is probably for the standard version of the SM8450, and we still do not know what the difference will be with the Plus version. Earlier, another source called Digital Chat Station said that the SM8450 will be produced by Samsung and its power will be 20% more than the previous generation. However, the design of this chip in the temperature management department has a problem and its supply may be delayed.

Huawei has apparently lost the ability to produce crane chipsets due to sanctions, so it wants to use Snapdragon processors in all future models of its products. Huawei phones are said to have enough Snapdragon chips to meet market demand after December.

In addition, it is claimed that the Huawei Mate 50 and the new model of the company’s clamshell phone will use Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon processor.
