Huawei’s proprietary operating system, Harmony, continues to grow, and it is now said that the number of devices equipped with Harmony 2 operating system has reached 90 million, and 8 new devices are added to this number every second.
Huawei has set ambitious goals for Harmony 2 and plans to reach 300 million users by the end of the year. Although a large number has been announced by the Chinese tech giant, it does not seem impossible to achieve it, because the number of devices equipped with this operating system was 70 million in the past few days, and now this number has reached 90 million.
However, it can be said that 20 million more devices have been supporting Huawei’s proprietary operating system since four days ago. The impressive performance of the Harmony 2 operating system becomes even more apparent when we realize that Richard Yu, CEO of the Huawei Consumer Business Group Announced Every second, 8 new devices support their proprietary operating system. Of course, some users may have multiple devices that support this operating system, and this value does not specify the total number of users of this platform.
It is not yet clear why 20 million new handsets were added to the number of devices running Harmony 2, but it appears that most of these handsets were old user devices that received a Harmony OS update. Huawei unveiled the Harmony 2.0 operating system in mid-June and released it for about 100 devices at the same time.
It should also be noted that out of the total 300 million devices predicted by Huawei, 100 million are related to other devices and smart devices of the company. So there is still a long way to go, but as reported, Huawei operating system is growing rapidly.
