After the introduction of the new generation Jeep Wagner concept model, the American company Jeep finally officially introduced this product under the two names of Wagner and Grand Wagner model 2022, and its production is scheduled to start this summer.
The Wagner will compete with the Chevrolet Tahoe, GMC Yukon and Ford Expedition, and the Grand Wagner will compete with more luxurious competitors including the Cadillac Sklade, Lincoln Navigater, BMW X7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS.
The Wagner model will be priced at $ 59,995 and the Grand Wagner model will be priced at $ 88,995. However, in the model with all the features and equipment, the price tag will increase to 111 thousand dollars.
This is the third product with a body independent of the Jeep chassis. Grand Cherokee L and ram 1500 are the other two products of this company with this body and chassis arrangement.
The most important difference, however, is in the rear suspension system, which is independent in the Wagner model, while in the ram model it uses a one-piece piece connected to each other called “Live”.
The Wagner is about 10 cm taller, 16 cm wider and 24 cm longer than the Grand W wrinkle. This will include its main competitors, and Wagner is longer than all other products.
The overall design is similar to the concept model, except that the front window equipped with the jeep’s headlights and lights has not found its way into the production model. The box-like appearance and high height are clearly reminiscent of the popular Wagner models of the 60s and 70s. The Jeep Wagner was assembled in Iran by Pars Khodro under the name of Jeep Ahoo and somehow carries the title of the first luxury long chassis in the world markets.
Wagner uses 18 to 22 inch wheels depending on the level of equipment and facilities and 7 types of body colors can be selected for it. Jeep has more colors for the Grand Wagner model.
Due to the higher price of the Wagner compared to the Chevrolet Tahoe, it is expected that the facilities and quality inside the Wagner room will be at a higher level.
The chip uses Napa leather as standard, and the two-horn steering wheel is reminiscent of the classic Wagner steering wheel design.
The rear amp display is 10.3-inch or 12.3-inch in the Grand model, and the gear lever with brushed aluminum cover with the ability to adjust the ride and height is a complete package for off-road driving.
The touch screen of entertainment information in the upper part of the console is also of 10.1-inch type with the ability to connect to all available applications, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
There is also a touch screen for the driver’s side passenger, and this is also for the rear passengers.
In terms of propulsion, the Wagner model is a standard rear-wheel drive, but also comes with three different types of transmission. Quadra Trac I and II systems are equipped with a central differential transmitting one and two speeds.
In addition to the central differential, the Quadra Drive II system also has a two-speed power transmission equipped with a non-slip differential.
Also, the air suspension system has the ability to increase the height up to 10 cm.
5 different driving modes include auto, sport, mock, snow and mud / sand with the ability to move on transverse slopes. This mode is only available on all-wheel drive models.
The Jeep currently uses a V8 engine and a model with a hybrid system will be available soon. The 5.7-liter V8 engine is capable of producing 392 horsepower and 547 Nm of torque and is equipped with a starter system and a 48-volt generator.
The Grand Wagner, however, is powered by a 6.4-liter V8 engine with a maximum output of 471 hp and 616 Nm of torque, and takes just 6 seconds to reach 96 km / h.
Both engines are capable of turning off the cylinders and are equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Wagner is capable of towing up to 10,000 pounds. The Grand Wagner, however, weighs up to 60 9860 due to its heavier weight.
Like the Grand Cherokee L, the Wagner will feature a Jeep self-driving system that includes night vision, pedestrian detection, a 360-degree camera and lane detection on the road.
Jeep Wagner with three levels of different equipment and facilities can be ordered from now on.
